Roxë15: A sci-fi short film project. Meet another character from the upcoming sci-fi thriller.
MEET THE CHARACTER: ELLIOT. Meet Dr. Elliot Robinson. Roxë’s mentor…and a visionary researcher who’s out of options. He’s a little obssessed with Roxë, but a LOT obssessed with success. Elliot is lost in the sea of cutthroat scientists gunning for the top spots, but his work with Roxë’s is his lifeboat.

MEET THE ACTOR. Erik McKay is a native New Yorker whose credits include “As the World Turns,” “Law & Order,” “Sex in the City,” as well as numerous theater productions and independent films.

Meet the woman at the heart of ROXË15.

MEET THE CHARACTER: ROXË. Meet Roxanne Patricia Jones, better known as Roxë. Quirky spitfire. Edgy cyber-geek. Egghead on a mission. She’s a brainiac virtual reality programmer who makes her living as a bartender. In a future where technology is the new money, Roxë is writing her ticket out of struggle by creating a revolutionary new software. The Mind Expansion project is her road to a better life — unless it destroys her first.


MEET THE ACTOR. April Matthis is a native Texan who has made NYC her home. Her theatrical credits include The Public Theater, Lincoln Center Theater, NY Theater Workshop, Soho Rep, HERE Arts Center, The Magic Theater (San Francisco), and the North Caroline Stage Company. She has also done independent film projects, and you may have seen her as the very satisfied Mrs. Hunter in a national TV campaign for KY Kissable Sensations….
